Adam Byrnes

Principal Immigration Lawyer

The management of Visa & Citizenship Lawyers is overseen by its founder and principal solicitor, Adam Byrnes.


Adam is relied upon for his experienced opinion on current immigration topics from media channels such as the Sydney Morning Herald, A Current Affair, SBS News, News.com,
and Crikey etc.


Before Visa & Citizenship Lawyers, Adam worked as a solicitor at the law practice Byrnes Legal. Before his legal career, Adam had a successful 10 year professional rugby union career which saw him play for teams including the QLD Reds, Melbourne Rebels and Leinster. He also played in the 2011 Rugby World Cup for Russia, qualifying through his Mother’s heritage.


Adam is Vice President of Sydney Multicultural Community Services Board of Directors, a not for profit organisation which helps Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities, including the aged, newly arrived migrants and refugees and those in crisis, suffering from language barriers, isolation, disability, poverty, disadvantage, and helplessness.

Gaya

Immigration Lawyer

In 2007, Gaya moved from Singapore to Australia to pursue her education as an international student. Gaya holds a Bachelor of Information of Technology degree and  a Bachelor of Laws. 

After going through the lengthy process of temporary resident, to permanent resident, to citizen herself, Gaya has a great passion for immigration law and is committed to helping others live their dream to settle in Australia.

 In her spare time, Gaya follows various human rights causes for Amnesty International and enjoys Pilates.

Darren has been with Visa & Citizenship Lawyers since the foundation. Looking after the accounts and bookkeeping for the organisation, Darren brings over 15 years’ experience in the International Freight/Customs, Marine and Agricultural Industries to Visa & Citizenship Lawyers and can respond to any of your matter accounting enquiries.
